It was mild October day and the deer particularly were active during the evening hunt. A tall 8 point followed a couple of does down the main trail to the feeder and I was preparing to shoot that buck. Suddenly this 11 point walks down that same trail straight to the pen. I took several deep breaths and pulled through the shot. This is my biggest buck to date.
