A few weeks ago, while browsing near the camping section of Academy Sports & Outdoors, something new caught my eye. Technically it was 3 somethings. Labeled as variously sized Magellan Waterproof Gear boxes and, after my deer/elk camp preparations, I just knew I had to have one.
So I picked one up about a week before we headed to elk camp and it was an absolute gamechanger. I packed and organized so much stuff into the 92 liter gear box that it saved us a ton of room in the truck bed. Some of the highlights of the box include…

So thanks to Magellan, there is an option featuring all the functionality outdoorsmen need without taking an unreasonable hit in the wallet. With 2 other sizes available at 50 liters and 22 liters, I might have to purchase another.
